Agreement between ABI and Borsa Italiana
ABI – the Italian Banking Association – and Borsa Italiana – the Italian Stock Exchange – have signed an agreement to promote listing, as a tool for business growth and competitiveness, to develop the activities of Italian brokers that operate on the stock market and to expand the industry of institutional investors in stocks and shares. Banks: ABI, ATMs become increasingly advanced for withdrawals and other transactions
In 2008, 958 million transactions at ATMs (+21% compared to 2007) for a total amount of over € 120 billion (+8.6%). Services offered are increasingly differentiated and complex. Full text >>

“Common Announcement”: Faissola, from November, an extra € 5 billion of liquidity for SMEs
New figures are available on the monitoring of the suspension of SME debts.
As at 30 November 2009, over 84 thousand applications had been received compared to 46 thousand at the end of October. Over 3/4 of requests have been admitted. Only just over 1% have not been approved. The most popular sectors are industry, retail/hotel and other services. 580 banks have joined the scheme, over 98% of branches. Full text >>
