Banks: 80% of immigrants are average customers

Albanians prefer ATM cards (80%). Ghanaians opt for credit cards (32%) and Filipinos for prepaid cards (24%). The members of the Chinese community ranked first in terms of use of savings books (56%) and personal loans (40%). 82% of migrants are average customers, i.e. use a variety of financial instruments to meet simple and basic needs, while 16% of them belong to a more sophisticated group of customers.

Banks: Italian consumers “give good grades” to payment cards for convenience and safety

According to an ISPO survey, 59% choose payment cards because they save time, 77% because they are the most convenient instrument, and 56% to feel safer. Notwithstanding that, in Italy many payments are still made using cash.

Banks and enterprises: cooperation initiatives between ABI and Confindustria

The banking and industry sectors keep working together over the entire national territory, town after town, to further strengthen their mutual cooperation and launch a series of proposals to fight the difficult economic situation.
On the agenda, the Mutual Credit Guarantee Consortia, the guarantee fund for SMEs that to date has paid out 11 billion euros, the Public Administration payments delay that amount to 50/60 billion euros.
